Young Business Leader - B-LEAD 2024 is a Business Competition on Leadership Development, organized by Business & English Club - BEC in collaboration with the Foreign Trade University - HCMC Campus.

Deeply understanding students’ concerns in competitive job market, B-LEAD owns a mission: augmenting the youth with a valuable playground to enhance the “LEAD”ership in the “B”usiness-like environment.

Building on the BEC’S 19-year journey of value, B-LEAD is expected to foster the determination of young business leaders who proactively strive to take the lead in the fiercely competitive market.

In the context of an increasingly challenging job market, students cannot escape the concern of standing out to compete with other candidates and further that artificial intelligence cannot replace their position.

The competitive pressures of today's job market will be recreated by B-LEAD through a complex and challenging environment, transforming students into players lost in a maze. To escape the obstacles and distractions behind them and continue their journey to the valuable treasure - their dream job, players must overcome a series of fierce challenges.

Along the way, leadership skills will undoubtedly be the valuable equipment that helps players improve their level to overcome all the demanding rounds and conquer the top positions on the leaderboard.

Warm Discussion Night is a discussion around one main topic, combined with meetings between candidates and businesses

Candidates apply problem-solving skills to propose solutions for Business Case

Inspired by the classic Bingo Game, two original teams will participate on performing business tasks

REGULATIONS

Candidates MUST strictly follow the rules and deadlines for submitting the tests.
Candidates MUST fully participate in all main activities in the competition except for force majeure cases.
Information that candidates provide to the Organizing Board MUST be complete and valid. The Organizing Board will not be responsible for any false information.
Candidates are responsible for the content in their tests; they MUST keep it confidential and do not disclose important information in their tests.
Candidates MUST maintain a polite and civilized attitude, without extreme emotions and actions towards the Organizing Board, the Judges, the speakers and other candidates. They must not make false statements that affect the parties involved in the competition.
Any incurred cost will NOT be supported by the organizers.

Students at universities or colleges or international students residing in HCMC throughout the competition, aged 18 to 24 years old.

By joining the B-LEAD Community Group, you will be updated with the latest and most accurate information about B-LEAD 2024, as well as have the opportunity to share and connect with fellow participants.
Beyond providing additional knowledge and experience, B-LEAD Community Group also serves as a platform for participants to have their questions answered and receive direct guidance from the B-LEAD 2024 Organizing Board.

OUR EVENTS

1. Deadline for Registration: 8 P.M on April 23th, 2024.
2. Business Case challenge, which participants will receive via email at 10 A.M. on April 24th, 2024.
The submission deadline: 10 A.M. on April 27th, 2024, and participants are required to submit via submission sent via your email.
3. Voting session is scheduled, where each team can publish only one slide of Executive Summary for voting on the B-LEAD Community Group from 8 P.M. on April 27th, 2024, until 11:59 P.M. on April 30th, 2024.
4. The ultimate outcome will be announced via email and on the Business & English Club - BEC FTU2 Fanpage.
